The story of the beginning / 24FW PRODUCT

Soon we will be able to eat Fuyu persimmons. All about persimmons and autumn.
.
In this blog, I will talk about my 2024 Autumn/Winter collection "memory sand" and the story behind the paintings and clothes I created that represent the theme of the season.
.
Introduction
.
We would like you to know about our 2024 Fall/Winter collection "memory sand".
.
An encounter at a certain place captivated my heart.
.
The beauty of the geological strata he saw at that place became the inspiration for his new collection.
.
Just as sand flows from the mountains through the rivers to the sea, time also carries our memories.
.
I felt that in the moment when the past and present overlap, new beauty is born.
.
Using the inspiration gained from this, they began working on the Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
.
This collection is based on the colors of sand, and the clothes express color changes that resemble geological layers.
.

.
The beauty of the strata I saw in a certain place. Yes, it all started with
.
It all started with a geological stratum I saw in Miyazaki Prefecture.
.
I remembered it when I was on the ferry going home and when I was sewing clothes.
.
The colors overlapped from white to brown, and I created a picture while tracing my memories.
.

.
Then, from each picture, I created a piece of fabric.
.
Then I cut the fabric and made a garment.
.

.
Each season, I create fabric using pictures that symbolize the theme of the collection.
.
I draw pictures with the idea of making them into fabric in the back of my mind. I drew many pictures, and sometimes the first one turned out to be good. This kind of thing happens a lot, and it's not just this one. By doing a lot of drawings, you can see the differences between each one and the good points of the first one.
.
What we would like to introduce to you today are shirts and pants made from an original printed fabric based on the painting "Strata," which symbolizes the 2024 Fall/Winter collection .
.
The print is made from 100% cotton twill fabric made from 40 -count cotton thread . The print color and texture are really good.
.

.
The shirt is a no-collar shirt with a clean neckline.
.
A boxy silhouette reminiscent of canvas with a lapped placket design.
.
The seam allowance on the back is folded and finished with piping for a neat finish.
.
The buttons are made from natural shell, each with its own unique look.
.

.
The pants have a wide straight silhouette with room around the thighs.
.
The seam allowance on the back is finished with piping for a neat look.
.
It uses a luxurious waist string with a tip finish.
.
It's hard to tell from the photo, but I also love the pin tuck design.
.
Pin tucks are a type of machine stitch that creates a thin line along the crease of pants (the crease in the middle of the pants).

.
It goes without saying that this is a great set, but as a single item (shirt or pants), I would also recommend it to those who don't usually wear patterns in their everyday outfits .
.
Wearing the strata, like wearing the landscape.
.
That concludes the product introduction.
